I feel like Life is trying to teach me something… but I don’t know what it is.  Things have not been going according to my plans.  No matter how I try to shift and adjust things keep happening that throw me off kilter.

I am at the fair.  Even thing is good.  I am collection stories and hope to be back with you soon.  The days are long and there have been little breaks.  We are stay off the fair grounds which means it is hard for me to sneak away to talk to you.

But you are always in my thoughts.  I am keeping my eyes and ears open for things to share with you.

This week I have 3 basic parts

1. Reminder: it is October and the North Carolina State Fair is coming up soon.

2. A slight rant about a lost evening.

3. This weeks story about a possible origin of knitting.  My story is based on James Norbury’s wonderful book Traditional Knitting Patterns.

Sorry for the late show this week.  Work has been very busy.  There is an important thing going on this week.  I had to buy clothes so that I could look professional.  I am rather particular about the types of clothes that I wear at work.  There is a very good reason for that.
